A dramatic turn in the results show of American Idol Season 11 as the Top 10 is now down to only 9 Finalists after Erika Van Pelt was eliminated.
SHOCKING....SHOCKING...SHOCKING!
Despite following the suggestion of prominent stylist Tommy Hilfiger’s to cut her hair, dye them dark the day before her live performance and change completely her fashion style, Ms. Van Pelt’s impressive performance with Billy Joel’s "New York State of Mind" didn’t seem enough to win Idol voters. The bottom three finalists were Deandre Brackensick, Heejun Han and Erika Van Pelt and shockingly Erika is sent home. Sad...Sad...Sad :(
All were wondering if the Judges will use their Saving Power for Erika but It never happened. Apparently, their saving either for Elise Testone, Hollie Cavanagh or Jessica Sanchez for future possible elimination.
The remaining nine Idols all get to live in the American Idol mansion, and Van Pelt will get to leave soonest. Still, she will have the chance to head out on the American Idol tour this summer.
